Now in its 13th year, the CFC Worldwide Short Film Festival is dedicated tocelebrating the best short films and videos being made today. It is the largest festival and marketplace of its kind in North America.
The Festival is accredited by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences;winners of the Best Animated and Best Live-Action Short awards are eligible for an Oscar nomination. It is also a qualifying festival for the Genies and BAFTAs.
Every year, hundreds of short films (including many titles not selected to screen) sign deals for distribution and broadcast in our Festival Marketplace.
WSFF pays Artist Fees for selected films, and does provide/subsidize travel andaccommodation for many selected filmmakers.
